Every season is a season of travel for us. Whether it be for work or pleasure, the crew and I are venturing to new spots and locations all over. With varying borders closing on the regular, New Zealand is our playground at the moment. Queenstown was the spot for our latest travel. The Rees Hotel Luxury Apartments hosted me in what was to be one of the most scenic accommodations that I have stayed in. If you read my most recent editorial you'll know I was traveling for work and The Rees was the perfect spot. We embraced every detail this jewel had to offer while we were away and I immediately loved the exterior details with its modern chalet appeal and luxury sophistication. Queenstown had such a cool vibe and yes there's a gallery galore to follow.
Located on Lake Wakatipu, this sophisticated 5-Star hotel offered us a Lakeside Residence for our stay with views that were heaven sent. The Rees stay was all encompassing. I had the fashionable added bonus of taking in the Trelise Cooper x Breast Cancer Cure charity event that was happening downstairs. We then dined for dinner at the award winning True South Dining Room with views for days and delightful delicacies whose memories are still with me. Every need was met and when the rain set in we decided to dine in for night number two partaking in the room service and wifi for an evening in.
The staff deserve an honorable mention notably the Hotel Manager Roman who attended to every bit of our accommodation that one could desire. We can fault them nothing.

We always rate our top hotels from around the world and this was easily now in our top 5. I think a revisit is in order next year.
My favorite detail? The stacks of rare books that line the shelves of the lobby where we enjoyed pre-dinner drinks overlooking the lake. #nerdalert
